SOIC-14 to DIP-14 Adapter – BrownDog 260401

Description

The BrownDog 260401 SOIC-14 to DIP-14 Adapter converts surface mount SOIC-14 package components to the DIP-14 package. This adapter is designed for conventional 150 mil (narrow) body width SOIC-14 surface mount components with pins on 50 mil (1.27mm) pitch. Featuring pin-to-pin correspondence and compact size, this adapter can be used to replace any DIP-14 component with an equivalent SOIC-14 version.

Features

• Allows for installation of conventional 150 mil body SOIC-14 surface mount devices into 100 mil [2.54mm] pitch DIP sockets, breadboards, protoboards and PCBs
• SMT footprint on top surface for one SOIC-14 component with a 50 mil [1.27mm] pin pitch and conventional 150 mil body width
• Press-fit pins create a low profile, compact design and eliminate the need to solder separate header pins to the board.
• Low loss 12 mil minimum trace width
• Available with or without pins installed
• Available unpopulated, or with a selection of pre-installed quad-channel op amps
