Description

The BrownDog 970601 SOIC-8 to DIP-8 Adapter converts surface mount 8-pin SOIC package components to the 8-pin DIP footprint.

Features

• Allows for installation of SOIC-8 surface mount devices into 0.100 in. [2.54mm] pitch DIP sockets, breadboards, protoboards and PCBs
• SMT footprint on top surface for one SOIC-8 component with a 0.050 in. [1.27mm] pin pitch
• Press-fit pins create a low profile, compact design and eliminate the need to solder separate header pins to the board.
• Low loss 15 mil minimum trace width
• Available with or without pins installed
• Available unpopulated, or with a selection of pre-installed op amps
