SOIC-28 to DIP-28 Adapter – BrownDog 031102A

Description

The BrownDog 031102A SOIC-28 to DIP-28 Adapter converts narrow (150 mil) and wide (300 mil) body surface mount 28-pin SOIC package components to the 28-pin DIP footprint.

Features

• Allows for installation of narrow (0.153 in. [3.90mm]) and wide (0.295 in. [7.50mm]) body SOIC-28 surface mount devices into 0.100 in. [2.54mm] pitch DIP sockets, breadboards, protoboards and PCBs
• SMT footprint on top surface for one narrow or wide SOIC-28 component with a 0.050 in. [1.27mm] pin pitch
• Press-fit pins create a low profile, compact design and eliminate the need to solder separate header pins to the board.
• Available with or without pins installed
• Also available in 15-up (3 by 5) array panels for automated assembly. We can install your choice of narrow or wide SOIC-28 electronic component to the adapters as a turnkey solution. Contact us for a quotation.
