Assembly of BrownDog Adapters
BrownDog Adapters are not only available as unpopulated, bare parts; they can also be assembled with your choice of pre-mounted components. For example, BrownDog part number 970601 is an SOIC-8 to 8-pin DIP adapter that we provide to several customers as a turn-key assembly with their choice of SOIC-8 surface-mount components that are installed to the adapters. This is an easy way to obtain a component in an 8-pin DIP format when the SOIC-8 package is the only one available. We can work with both customer-supplied parts and parts that we source through our supply network of manufacturers and authorized distributors.

We gladly accept orders from international customers from all countries, with only a few exceptions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan and Syria. As of 2023, we are also unable to accept orders with shipping addresses in Russia, Ukraine or Belarus due to sanctions. However, we can ship to U.S.-based freight forwarding addresses if you live in one of these countries. We must abide by customs regulations and provide an accurate description and value on the customs forms, so please do not ask us to mark them with a low value or as a gift. You are responsible for paying any import duties, value-added taxes, or any other fees involved in accepting shipments from the U.S.A.
The most affordable international shipping option that we offer for online orders on this website is Global Post Standard, which offers 6-10 day delivery with door-to-door tracking worldwide. UPS is also available at checkout with various options, including 1-3 day delivery to almost any global location.
Returns & Exchanges
You may return any unused items within 30 days of receipt for refund or credit against an exchange, provided that you return them to us in like new condition, postage prepaid, to:
